Plastic or not...the sculpt is boss. Yes, asking price of $650 plus shipping is too much. But I just ordered it. Why? Well, Sideshow still has some left. They had a Halloween special...$100 off, free shipping...and I used Rewards Points. So the total amount shipped was $250. So for that price it was a good deal. This Wolf will go great displayed next to my 1/4 NECA Predators. Plus I airbrush, easy work...it will look awesome in no time.

ironically that wolf predator cost more to make than the other three, its extremely cheap to make things out of pollystone but with pvc is very expensive because they have to make cast iron or some kind of cast metal molds to pour the plastic in and they have to make multiple molds because they don't last long, so even though that Wolf Predator looks so cheap it was actually very expensive to make, unless they made 10s of thousands.

with pollystone they use silicone molds which are extremely cheap to make and the pollystone itself is an extremely cheap material for a factory to purchase, whereas the steel molds they have to use for pvc products are extremely expensive a company can spend as much a $100, 000 on molds for a run of a figure.

this video is a great review. love the detailed parts on paint and product compounds. But in retrospect...did the buyers expect anything more.!? sideshow has been lacking since the early 2000 in consistency and materials. im not suprised they havent switched to plastic earlier. plastic(PVC i keep hearing) is very sturdy...thia seems to fail in the construction and parts fitting area as i keep seeing and hearing the separate parts dont connect well. as far as the detail loss....its not from the casting process for loss of detail but im sure from the sculpt it was casted from. i keep seeing the head lost alot of detail.

Well I’m so glad I came across this video. I have one more payment going out in a week and now I will cancel my order because this is just lame for the money they are asking. And I was so looking forward to add Wolfie to my collection. I haven’t bought anything Predator related in a long time. Utterly disappointed 😔 Thanks for the video man!

Let me ask one honest question - IF the bust was EXACTLY the same BUT made of polystone instead and if it was already assembled like the City Hunter or the Classic one, what would your opinion be then ?

Get me right, I have my pre-order up and running, so I am not here for trolling, get me right, but I don´t completely get the deal at the moment - is it really just because of the different material ?

It's honestly too bad that this video probably won't be seen by the majority of sideshow fanboys. It's sad but true when collectors pay hundreds of dollars for their products and you get a seriously flawed, cheaply made and painted item. It's becoming the norm not just for sideshow but hot toys blitzway pop culture shock ect ect. Return this crap and get your money BACK. As time goes by all you see are companies asking big dollars for cheaply made products. Look at pop culture shock American wearwolf from London final statue....horrible. Thanks for the video.

Well well well.... why im NOT surprised? Typical Sideshow! Promise 100% but deliver 70%. Been saying this for years. I sure could turn this baby into a fantastic looking piece but it means an additional investment of 1000$ with shipping which is just not worth it. Really disappointing and sad.
