Well done for addressing – politely and positively of course, as that's your way 😊 – the mad pricing of vegan food. I always pack my own food, where practical, but we do need reasonably priced off the shelf sarnies for when taking our own picnic isn't feasible.

Tbh, since the demise of the supermarket eggless sandwiches, I've found all the vegan sandwich options too "fussy" (I only really like plain food). But I'm glad these things are there for others to buy and enjoy. And the high veg content in this one will appeal to some I'm sure.

Haven't seen that sandwich in Waitrose, but their meal deal is £5 which I don't think is worth it if you're getting a sandwich and not one of those fancier bowl-type mains
