I also grew up with a fascination with Peter Pan. The novel by JM Barrie is among my favorites from when I was a kid. I literally just bought this book, so it was great to see this review! I'm pumped to read it!

I feel the same way about the way Anne Rice writes. She is so descriptive you can smell and taste and hear NOLA and the bayous like you've been most your life. Can't wait to read these if they are like that ! :)

This is completely random, but just a suggestion. If you’ve ever Watched True Blood or like vampire type books in general the Sookie Stackhouse Series are SO GOOD. There are seriously like 13 of them I think. The first book is pretty spot on to the first season, but from there it takes crazy turns and adds in lots of new love stories and especially fleshes out Sookie and Eric. My only qualm is that the author does this thing where she reintroduces characters in every book as if anyone would pick up book 9 and start there 😂

I really want to read this. I remember seeing the peter pan twisted tale being announced and crying because it's my second fav Disney film. while I might not have watched it many times as a kid I have been and am watching a lot in my teen years and every time the film comes to a close I cry. there are no words to describe how amazing it is. I also freaked out because Liz Braswell announced on her Instagram that she is writing an Alice in Wonderland twisted tale. Alice in Wonderland is my favourite Disney film of all time and I couldn't be more excited. the Alice twisted tale is called "unbirthday" but the twist in the story hasn't been announced yet. I am on the edge of my seat.
