VW Golf MK7 (5G) interior lights with fade-in fade-out activation

preview_player
Показать описание
Interior lights in Volkswagen Golf MK7 (5G) by default turn off and on immediately with headlights. Enabling this feature will result in slow fade-in and fade-out effect each time interior lights are turned off or on. Interior lights with #fade will be more pleasant and less noticeable not to disturb driver.
To enable this feature you need diagnostic interface like @OBDeleven-Official, VCDS or any other device that's capable of changing coding and adaptation values in VAG cars.
This tweak will most likely work in other MQB cars like Audi A3 8V, Seat Leon 5F, Skoda Octavia 5E.

Procedure:
Module: 09 (Central Electronics)
Security Access → Code: 31347
Adaptation → Channel: Interior lighting-KL58 Einschalten mit Rampe → active

For German it’s called Innenbeleuchtung, KL58 Einschalten mit Rampe in central Electric. Works on my Mk7 2013.

Świetne to. Tyle zmian drobnych, ale dopasowuje samochód do indywidualnych upodobań . Powinno to być dostępne dla każdego właściciela by sobie skonfigurować z pozycji menu w radiu. Zastanawiam się nad R w kombi. Była by niezła zabawa. Kupiłem obd11 tak by sobie spr parametry przed zakupem.

Nice, thank you im going to do it now. Not sure if the feature is already enabled for the south african models, never paid attention to it.

Edit:
Just did it and it works 100%. BUT I honestly dont see why you would do it, I mean the transition is more visible at night and by then your lights will already be on, the only time you will see it is when you transition from day to night driving but at that moment there will still be some sunlight and you wont even see the interior light fading in/out. For you to see this effect you would have to manually turn your light off and on at night, and begs the question, practically when and why would you even do that lol? Ok maybe if you are driving during the day and you enter a tunnel, then you will see this properly, or rather your passengers will see.

I have activated this on a Skoda Kodiaq, but when I lock the car the lights in the Start button, hazard lights button and the SOS button won't go off. Is your car doing the same?

Hello! Is it possible to activate this also on dashboard? I don't have automatic lights and, when I turn to low beams, all the interior lights fade-in except dashboard that instantly turns lights on. It doesn't "combine" very well. 😅
Does anyone know how to put this to work?
Thank you 😁

Hi, after activating on Octavia 3, 2019 everything works, but when the car is locked, the virual cockpit lights up. I had to return it to its original value.
