The best moment was after the match when FZD started a clapping with the crowd. Yes sport is also a great pleasure and a great joy when you win !

Also Truls did a marvellous trick by giving a backspin to a ball underneath the table (Fan could not see it) and Fan could not even touch the ball who came back to his side after the bounce. Even Fan had a smile on his face.

As I predicted, neither Lebrun nor Truls could cause significant trouble to Fan. Truls's style is creative but he lacks consistency and a real winning strategy. He may be called being able to annoy his opponents at best. If he had consistency maybe we could have another Waldner.

From performance perspective Harimoto deserved a medal!
So sad he matched up early with FZD.

Truls had a great start but slowly became more and more tired and stressed. On the other hand FZ was always on battle mode. A machine indeed.

CBTM, Abraço Sandro, quantas vezes falei: "Se vc quer ganhar de um chinês tem que ter um técnico CHINÊS". O grande responsável pela derrota para o sueco foi única e exclusivamente o técnico, 10 a 4... 5...6...7 opa pede tempo e acabou, fechava 1 a 0. Alguém me ajuda porque acredito que na semifinal em olimpíadas nunca na história 1 jogador ganhando de 10 a 4 perdeu o set. Outro detalhe, vc pode estar 100 % bem tecnicamente e fisicamente se o seu emocional não estiver fundamentado nesse tripé, numa olimpíada... ACABOU, já era! Isso ficou bem claro no último set, perdeu para um cara que joga diferente bate chapado e fora do tempo de bola, perdeu para um cara que é inferior tecnicamente, muito inferior mais que deixou tudo na mesa. Enfim, nunca mais vc terá essa oportunidade novamente com 1 chinês fora e jogando como favorito para chegar à final. Acredito que vc ainda será nosso melhor jogador nas próximas olimpíadas, comece a se preparar para ela trocando de técnico! Já, agora! Um técnico chinês Taiwan ou Hong Kong. Infelizmente vc perdeu a maior oportunidade que o destino abriu para vc e caiu no colo do Truls. Acredito que vc pode, sucesso! A derrota pelo bronze é o arsenal probatório sobre a necessidade de troca de técnico. Lamentável a passividade do técnico.
