Lmao I’ve only had positive responses for taking the initiative as an engineer to go into a field I’m unfamiliar with. You’re wrong here.

I saw people mocking it at all levels on Linkedin recently.

They said CFA also says not to do it, which is untrue, CFAi absolutely encourages stating your level completed or candidacy.

Mind you these people were fine to list letters or exams that arent a fraction as hard as a single level of CFA.

I put it on because it was preferred for the candidate for this role he pursing or wishes to purse the cfa charter

I am a CFA candidate with a PhD taking level 1. I also laughed internally when someone placed the words PhD candidate in their resume or in LinkedIn.

People who cleared CFA L1 or any levels for that matter, could they mention that they cleard the particular level on their resume? No harm in it I believe?

Yeah i agree, but i think if someone has a prior qualification done and duster for example im an ACCA, maybe it would show a willingness to continue development and future prospects? Idk im pretty fresh, however if you just graduated (or not) and the resume says level 1 candidate it basically says nothing

I know i just defended writing “level 1 candidate” but God knows I wouldn’t be caught dead with that written on my resume 😂

What if you cleared lvl 1 senior year of college? Would it be valid to put it in your resume?
