@Cafeeine I watched Pokemon as a kid and X-Men Silver Surfer, The Incredible Hulk, Fantastic Four and Spider-Man all back in the 90s. They weren't nearly THIS childish and it still greatly appealed to kids. They all stuck pretty true to the comics, were very well done and was great for all ages.

I see a LOT of people saying how bad this looks but I would bet none of the ones griping have kids. I signed my daughter, her dad, and myself up for the beta. It's simple to learn and understand, the designers are very open to constructive criticism, and it's perfect for my 8 year old. We all had fun playing it and I hope it does well.

The rest of you can go play Champions, City of Heros/City of Villians/City of Heros - Going Rogue or DC online so chill out.

Personally, I don't care to much for the whole"SuperHero Squad" line. As everyone knows from just looking at the above trailer, toys, and cartoon it was made to attract a younger audiance. There is one thing I should stress though...Marvel had begun their "SuperHero Squad" line BEFORE Disney took over, not after. It was their decision to try to attract a younger age group, not Disney's. From what I heard, Disney actually bought the company because they want to attract an older age group.

The game is great! I have ghost rider, Spider man, Spiderman 2099, Spider-woman, Stealth armor ironman, Street cloths wolverine, Daredevil, Avengers hulk, Scarlet witch, Ms. Marvel, Thing, Falcon, Cyclops, Reptil, and a whole lot others!

@RaphGirl Up until MARVEL had a streamlined company to produce everything, they had to sell the rights to what they could to get movies, TV, cartoons, books, etc made. The movies were produced recently by Columbia, Sony and Lionsgate, and others. Now that MARVEL is owned by Disney, they are trying to get their properties back under one roof that can handle the massive media output. Until then, the various rights will prevent cross over media appearances by certain characters.

@transformersrocks123 Yeah. and the fact that Marvel Universe Online has pretty much been confirmed, means that this is a long term plan as far as marketing goes. Start them young, and keep em in when they are older.

why are people hating so much its not as if they created it for people like in their teens or twenty something (wich by the wayt if u got a life u shuldnt be playing games as much by then) it was probably meant for kids and i i know alot of kids wo wuld like this stuff lol so stop hating and go s play something else u wuld like
