We use a Kelly System for advancing the soil tubes into the ground for extended depth sampling. These Kelly Bars are available in the following lengths. 1ft, 2ft, 3ft, 4ft, 6ft & 8ft. There is a hole every 12 inches in the bars.
There is a spring loaded pin in the Rotary Head that snaps into these holes at desired intervals.
