Fergus McCann SERIOUSLY needs a statue at Celtic park because without him, Celtic would not have become the modern football club it is today and we would've gone into administration.

A statue (or something similar) for Jimmy McGrory is surely long overdue.

He's the clubs all time record goal scorer but you'd barely know it from walking up to or around the stadium.

To the best of my knowledge we've nothing dedicated to him wether it be a statue, stand, walkway, lounge etc....

6:10 never heard of this guy until yesterday but the fact he had an uninspiring playing career is neither here nor there when it comes to his role at Celtic.

Football is packed with excellent coaches/managers who didn't have amazing playing careers.

The highest level Brendan Rodgers played at was Reading reserves before having to retire from professional football at the age of 20. Playing football and coaching/managing a football team are two different things that require completely different skillsets. Just because you are good/bad at one has no bearing on whether you'll be good/bad at the other.

In fact in many cases brilliant players have proven to be terrible managers

Best pub overall is the Brazen Head, best one nearer the ground is maybe Traders Tavern. As for food you're probably better off eating at one of the takeaways on the Gallowgate, similarly for merch there's a good wee shop by Calton Books

Veggie patty subways are nice. Change the mayo for some southwest sauce and get some jalapenos on it and that's a good sandwich.
