KING OF THE WORLD (KOTW), 'CAN'T GO HOME', MEZZ BREDA 2016

Powerfully delivered blues by King of the World (KOTW), in honour of Dutch blues musician Harry Muskee. 'Can't Go Home'. has become a signature piece of the band, featuring masterful guitar work by Erwin Java, and smooth vocals from bassist Ruud Weber. The band played the MEZZ venue in Breda, The Netherlands, on Friday, November 25, 2016.

After two critically acclaimed albums “Can't Go Home “(2013) and “KOTW” (2014), in May 2015 the “Live at Paradiso” album was released to rave reviews. After three self produced albums, the band’s fourth studio album has just been recorded in USA (May 2016), with producer Erwin Musper. KOTW has built a strong live performance reputation, through shows at major festivals including North Sea Jazz Festival, Rhythm & Blues Night Groningen, Bluesrock Tegelen and the Highlands festival, as well as regularly guesting at renowned Dutch rock venues like Paradiso Amsterdam, De Boerderij Zoetermeer, Hedon Zwolle amongst others. Radio and TV airtime has been considerable and the group has won 5 Dutch Blues Awards in 2014, including best drummer, best keyboard player, best bass player, best guitarist and best blues band.
