Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare (2025) Movie Review

We’ve been treated, or maybe assaulted by the atrocious nursery rhyme horrors Three Blind Mice and Mary Had a Little Lamb… and the there was the less-than-stellar Winnie the Pooh Blood and Honey… but surprisingly, the sequel was much better. Following in the footsteps of classic kids tales reimagined as slashers, we now have Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare. It’s getting a limited run in theaters, but should you grab tickets? Wendy Darling strikes out in an attempt to rescue her brother Michael from the clutches of the evil Peter Pan who intends to send him to Neverland. Along the way she meets a twisted Tinkerbell who is strung out on pixie dust. Should Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare be on your watchlist? Interesting review. Open and honest. I like it. The movie isn’t for everyone. But if you do get to see it I hope you are entertained. One of the most difficult roles I have ever had to portray!

One of the absolute best films came out at the end of 2024. Memoir of a Snail, a claymation story. Definitely worth reviewing.

Just got home from watching this. I really enjoyed it. I felt that the gay boys were targeted, Peter saw them as "special" and worthy of going to neverland. Pan actually thought he was the hero in this story and for me it made him more menacing. I loved your review can't wait to see your take on Bambi.

i believe the writer or creator of this universe is gay or in the lgbtq community and he said he wanted characters from that background but he never stated they need to die according to the interview i saw with killjoy jake.

im sooo down for this. when i say i hate disney, i think u can imagine the catharsis these films bring me!

ive also heard about a bunch of queer kids in the film and i WISH it was established Peter targets them. horror is reflecting issues from the time its made in, and evil monsters targeting queer kids is really timely at the moment. i think its awesome to characterize such people with someone looking and acting as repulsively as Peter Pan!
even if thats not the case, as a queer horror fan i think its cool to put gay and trans people in films just because, including when its a violent slasher. sure some might like their kills for immoral reasons, but i dont think we should make art and entertainment with them in mind. just disregard them and have fun!

@MoviesAndMunchies huge fan of the channel and from the trailer for this I personally got yes quite a bit of Pennywise but, I also got quite a bit from one of my favorite Ethan Hawke performances of The Grabber from 2022’s The Black Phone in this.


I’m not sure if my assumptions based on the trailers were wrong or not but, I did get that assumption based on the creepy ass kidnapper van and even the way he talked in the trailer in his line when he walks on the school bus and says “Awwww…….now who wants to come to neverland with me.”


then all the kids start screaming and I’m fairly certain he brutally stabs at least one of those poor children to death it cut away in the trailer though but, I wouldn’t be surprised if they show it in the movie honestly.

Only one i have seen of the ones you mention is Blood & Honey, and while i would not call it good, there where things that i really liked, like when the friend catches Piglet, she does not relent, not the usual horror mistake of his him once, drop your weapon and advantage and start running.. No she f***ing took him out hard.. And honestly i loved that..

It is not the IP that makes movies good. Clearly, these movies are case studies for film students… 😂😂😂😂. But they are getting some free publicity, at best.
