Hi Waveshare, when will these be back in stock? I’ve been looking around, but cant find them anywhere. Unfortunately the 10.3 inch is too expensive for my project. Thanks in advance.

Cant get the 7 inch HDMI LCD(H) working on Raspberry Pi4B 2GB. I upgraded from Lite to Desktop but it is a pain in the ass to get this screen working with Pixels. The Waveshare website also is very onclear on how to do things.

Is it plug and play ? or do I have to install anything ?

I hope that WaveShare had a good virtual keyboard for the HMI displays. On Raspberry pi the Screens work ok, but without automatically virtual loaded keyboard, using the terminal or browser is a pita.

How much power (mW) does this use? Price is good.

do I have to pay extra money for the driver board ?

I bought the HAT version of this display and it is a nightmare to work with.
No python modules available,
No manual or documentation to wrap your head around how the C libraries work.
You can just play the demo over and over again.
And they do not sell HDMI control boards seperately.
I wasted money. Big regret.
