I thought about something. Let’s say a squib that makes it as far as the sorting ceremony. Students laugh at them and then Filch walks up and escorts them out but tells them it’s okay and that they aren’t alone. I don’t think it’s plausible but it makes me happy thinking about the caretaker being kind.
