Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Plastotecnica: the sustainable life cycle of our products

For many years, we at Plastotecnica have been focused on an objective that we consider strategic: to offer sustainable products thanks to a sustainable production process. This is not a play on words, but a concrete commitment for which we are constantly engaged in improving the environmental sustainability of our flexible packaging. In collaboration with Spinlife, a spin-off of the University of Padua, expert in sustainability paths for companies, we have recently performed a Product Life Cycle Assessment which calculates the environmental footprint of our articles from the production of raw materials to the exit from the factory. This study helps us to define the most critical phases of our activities and will lead us to an increasingly efficient use of resources, reducing the environmental impact of our production processes and allowing us to develop new products according to the principles of eco-design. In the future, we will keep on committing ourselves to the development of more sustainable products with our usual high performances.
