That's why one should go for ink tank printers. Though the cost is expensive for the first time when buying, but at the end of the day you can print thousands of pages with single refill and it doesn't even get dry.

Bro i got a printer with a tank (Epson l360), it lasts thousands of prints, never gets dry, can use non genuine ink (voids warranty), and the genuine ink are decently priced (a set for 2-6$)

This is why I have bought a laser printer. While it is more expensive, it is just so much better in the long run. It’s been 13 years since I’ve bought the printer and used it about 4 times a month and it still hasn’t run out of laser since the day I bought it.

I use an Epson l382, it's basically an ink tank printer, those printers are usually expensive upfront but it's worth it, I've had mine for almost 7 years now and I haven't spent more than 40 dollars on ink, and so far, I've printed out 9000 pages

My experience with Epson ink tank printer is excellent. It's durable and easy to repair when needed(just 15 mins) the ink lasts long print more.

I must say that I barely print stuff these days yet I still have the Epson Expression Home XP-2205 which I mostly use for printing ad posters for our meetups. Though the ink cartridges that came with the printer seems to be samples because when I made my first print with it, the monitoring software displayed all of the CMYK half used, and a friend of mine brought the 604 Magenta cartridge for our Valentine's Day cards, it was 100% full after mounting it. Kinda sucks but in the future it's a very tiny money consumpton after all if it's just one cartridge.

The worst is that it only cost ~30cents to produce and it show the "out of ink" message after only a certain amount of printing and not when the cardridge is really empty (often the message shows when it's still half full).

That's why it's super common that places that prints lot use laser printers rather than liquid ink. I don't use a lot of printers but I see them as a giant scam. If I needed I would just pay a bit more at first for a laser printer and never worry anymore.

I've had it with these issues. I have gone with business/enterprise inkjet printers as they have more ink capacity in their cartridges. Laser printers are also good.
