The funny problem with Russia' war on Ukraine has fallen into a standstill situation against the Western powers is largely dependent on what China is doing in the South China sea including Taiwan. While China has everything to do with its backing military sponsorship for Russia' game plan to make a barrier in Ukrain against the EU top elites, the only problem in the background is that Xi wants to prove to his national audience that he has the military strength under his leadership to invade Taiwan. XI missed the point that Taiwan is a completely different approach when compared to Ukraine's role for the west, that was why Putin thinks China is now pulling back Russia' tail away from the focus to defeat NATO's ambition on Ukraine. XI obviously is not clear on what he is up against right now although all he sees is Taiwan target, and I certainly will not say it here until we as spectators keep watching until Beijing is ruined by Xi's own downfall.

I don't think that USA will involve in this conflict. Cost of successful war effort is unimaginable. Most America can do is to supply weapons. Even that seems too much. Can America engage in two fronts? So, it has to be Taiwanese alone who has to fight. The question is whether they will resolve to carry out a prolonged all-out war against China with the population of 1.4 billion people.
