If this is the route that Nvidia are going down then gamers and developers will just need to pretend that the 5090 doesn't exist.

I got an order in for a B580 for my son’s PC.
Said expected delivery before Christmas.
Then I got a follow up email saying it was delayed until mid January.
Now I’ve got an email saying it’s been shipped and it’s due to arrive on Monday.

NVIDIA is insane. I was thinking about getting the 5090 for AI agent development, but to hell with that. I am currently running a 7800xt on the a dev machine and wanted more vram capacity when i build a new system. Hell, I can buy 3 7900xtx's since RocM now supports multi-gpu configurations on those for less than 3k. AMD needs to release a 24gb version of the 8000 series. That's 64gb of ram for larger models and the 7800xt with only 16gb of ram is damn impressive for its class.

5080 sounds more like a 5070 to me
