If προτότοκος signals temporal primacy then he is obviously excluded as the first of God's creative acts from the all things he was used to create. That exclusion then implies the word other in πας.

Although this video is short, Isaiah 44:24 refutes the teaching that Jehovah created Jesus and used him to create everything else,

“Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, who formed you from the womb: I am the LORD, who made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself, ”

Connecting this with John1:3 (even in the NWT), “All things came into existence through him, ” referring to the Word.

The LORD was alone and created by himself, and the Word created all things (note ‘other’ is not in John 1:3, NWT)

Easily explained without a literal pre-existence. The Father created all things so he could beget his son.
