I am a Tulsa native and I can pretty much speak for all Tulsans when I say, don't come to Tulsa unless you're just visiting. We don't want the city to be tainted with what you're trying to run from.

Spend one week in Tulsa in August, and then realize that heat lasts for 3-4 months straight. That coupled with Oklahoma is in the bottom percentile of pretty much everything positive. On top of that, everything is continuing to decline even further. If that sounds good to you, yeah, come on in.

Don't come here. I swear there's a dude that works at City Hall who's only job is to paint orange construction cones and barrels and have nowhere to store them except everywhere on the roads.

It used to be lovely, safe and clean. Tulsa was always on the list of best places to live. Unfortunately, it's being allowed to be destroyed by people from other places.

Please do not move here! We used to have low crime, but since other people started coming here, en masse, it has gone up exponentially. Move to Alaska.

Live in OKC I used to live in Tulsa as a kid but I lived in the north side, needless to say if you know you know. Worked at a retail store for a couple years, I’ve talked to a lot of Californians who moved to escape the nonsense and some other folks. Honestly sad people leaving their hometown instead of being pillars of their community. I still live near that retail store and a lot of older folks loved to see me, and I knew their names and stories, we don’t want bigger cities leave the Midwest alone.

Ive lived in NY, LA, Thailand and i currently live in Tulsa and I love it. People are polite and easy to work with, you can drive anywhere in 20 minutes max, the cost of living is very low, the land is green and the air quality good. Not many downsides.

If you’re thinking about moving to Tulsa, don’t. I’m sick of people moving here and screwing up the city. This used to be a great place to raise a family and live. Now it’s in the Top 25 most dangerous cities because a bunch of transplants showed up. We also are in the top 10 for highest hard drug use in the country.

In 2018 it was good for a young adult (21-26). I moved from Louisiana to start a new life and did that in Tulsa so I will always be grateful for this city. There is just as much opportunity for growth as there is the opposite like crime and drugs. It’s all about your mindset and where you chooses to be then tulsa will deliver
