Everyone can wear different suits and drive diferent cars, but in the end they're all racers, and all deserve to be treated as such

Mechanics are some of the best mates and always help one another outside of direct competition. Pierre's car catching on fire was put out by a "rival" mechanic, when Williams went up in smoke years ago, every mechanic from all teams rushed in. Some have even lent rival teams spare equipment. It's just what they do because they all get it.

You know the heat was bad. Logan Sargeant had to retire because it made him sick. And albon struggled to get out. The teams may have to implement singapore level prep for qatar in the future.

Bro wasn’t fatigued because of the heat it was because of how hard he’s been carrying Williams

I actually watched alm of the drivers onboards to see how they was getting out of the car since i saw clip of stroll just struggling massively and this was truly heartwarming.

Yes, they are rivals on the track, but they are humans after all. Senna also stopped his car mid race to help another driver in danger.

It was concerning that none of ALEX’s team were on hand IMMEDIATELY to help - all teams knew how awful the heat was and should have been worried and had a medical person ready to assess their drivers ASAP!

This is the thing many people don’t get. The teams are kind of a big family. Not only in itself but altogether. There’s only rivalry while they’re directly competing.
And even then there’s generosity and helping each other from time to time.

Saw a clip where a car had to stop at the beginning of the pitlane but no mechanics of that team anywhere near. Instead of letting their competitors car overheat, mechanics of another team came up with their cooling equipment to keep the car cooled until the others arrived.

Why the FK am I tearing up?! 😢 Why is sportsmanship so immensely heartwarming? It's like a glimpse into the decency that lies under our hardened exteriors.

When it comes to Health & Safety on the paddock there is no such thing a multiple teams. Everyone looks out for each other no matter the rivalries or politics. Remember a few years back when the Williams garage ignited after a race, mechanics form every other garage raced to help without a second thought. Most motorsport paddocks are the same.

I grew up on the race tracks all over the US. We raced midgets and sprintcars at the highest levels. Once the helmet is on, I want nothing more then to destroy my competition. Once the helmet comes off, we are all a part of the same racing family.

It's unfortunate to see so many people thinking that rivals just hate each other. In sports, rivals typically have an immense respect for each other when the ball is dead, or when the engine is off. They may be enemies in between, but they're friends afterwards.

Exactly how it should be, motorsports has the most amazing people. There are a few bad folks of course but as a whole i have met more super nice and humble friends in motorsports than anywhere else, many of them are now 10-15 year plus friends. I am a mechanic through and through but love to drive also we mechanics stick together also, u will see another team helping work on a car or whatever they can. Its a brotherhood really and its awesome to be a part of.

That’s what makes a sport and sport, we’re all rivals on the field but in the same boat once we leave it! ❤

THIS is what f1 is. Not death threats, not hatred. Sportsmanship and support

The racers are already near 0 body fat, and very thin, it doesn't take a lot of exposure to induce problems. High metabolism, low body mass, and high brain activity with the need to be hyper responsive with barely a second to relax, all require great amounts of energy from a relatively little body. I love to see the respect, and sportsmanship, it's inspiring.
