People are driving themselves crazy worrying about what is next, after the one that hasn't even come out yet. Buy what you need, and what's available now. The last time I gambled on the future promise of the iPhone is when I bought the iPhone 12 PM, for 5G, & had to up my AT&T plan for it. Honestly, nearly 4 years later, & I've still only used 5G a handful of times.

All I want is a red pro phone. It's a primary colour and we've never got any shade of red for a pro phone, but got a couple of greens and a few blues. We need a red pro phone. I don't think we'll get it though. I think the only big change from next years phone for the pro will be smaller dynamic island. Of course the updated 48mp telephoto lens. If only they did that this year. Updated 24mp selfie camera. It does make you want to skip the 16. I'm on the 13 pro max and will wait for the 18 or 19. Wiring for a complete design overhaul and game changing features. Features like the action button being able to do three to four things. Hold for one one click for another and double click for a third. Also a full quad HD display. 10x optical zoom or continuous optical zoom like from the Sony phones. 3.5x to 7.1x battery health degrading a lot slower than right now. Some phones take ages to drop to 99% battery health and then drain faster from there. Others go down normal. Then there's phone that drain health from the get go. My original watch ultra I've had for nearly two years and it's still on 100% battery health. I don't even know if that's accurate. Me charging it to 80 from 30 might play a factor in that. Brighter display doesn't matter to me, we can see these phones in any sun light nowadays. I'd like for the phone to be a little louder though but a little lighter also
