Worship Session - 02/08/20

I sat down to record another worship session today. I felt a theme for this set was about being satisfied by the endless beauty of God. I believe we are designed to be captivated by beauty, and while we may be drawn to the beautiful things of the earth, that longing was designed to be completely satisfied and fulfilled in Jesus.

Wanted to die tonight. Everything is too much. But i can't die yet, i haven't serve God with everything that He deserves. Heard a preacher said, one day, when we are in heaven not dealing with sin, what things are we going to talk about to Jesus in heaven? Are our prayers on Earth right now only our problems? While we certainly must cast our anxieties to Him, do we care to talk about "everyday things?" Do we say, "Wow Lord, thats a beautiful tree you made, Lord, the stars are beautiful" Do we take time to just appreciate what He has done? When you sang Made for Jesus, I was reminded of this, that one day, we are going to walk with Him in the cool of the day. When we do...what are we going to talk about?

I only recently found your worship sessions during quarantine, and they have really been getting me through this season. God is working through you, keep pursuing his beauty as you encourage me to pursue him.

Man how God's Spirit moves.I almost gave in to some coping method of that dissatisfaction; didn't think it was a big deal until I bowed my knees out of some urge- and 30 minutes later, after sobbing and breaking down before Jesus, I'm here. Listening about the battle I just went through against guilt and shame that Jesus defeated thousands of years ago on the cross, the one he won tonight in my bedroom, and the one He will continue to win in my heart and countless others. Let Christ continue being all that you chase Jonathan, may God be forever glorified through your walk with him.

I decided to give the month of June to becoming more intimate with the Lord, so seeing this couldn’t have come at a better time! People say heaven is our reward, seeing humanity redeemed or knowing we ran our race well is our greatest reward, but I truly believe Jesus is our greatest reward! I can’t wait to see him on that final day walking towards me. 😭😭😭 Just thinking about meeting Him face to face gets me 😩. Thank you sir for using your heart to make this!

2am : Before coming here, I was asking God on what he's saying. I felt Him say "you're beautiful" and it left a different impression in my heart. As we are in awe in the beauty of Himself, He looks at us with awe of the beauty He's created at the same time. No matter how we've walked the dark paths, filled with hopelessness, overwhelmed by situations, filthy of impurity, disobedient, full of selfishness,

the Father delights on the faces and whole-hearts that are turned towards Him.
