Luna is my 2013 self-converted sprinter van that I spent about 6 months taking from a messy work van to my very own tiny home on wheels!

I think you did a beautiful build. I worked field service for about 35 years and the company I worked for provided new vans about every two years and we were allowed to use them for personal use. I backpack a lot and I would clear out my tools and throw in my sleep system and camp stove etc and head out in Friday night and sleep at the trailhead. Talk about low tech van life. It worked for me and it was free. So you are right there are many ways to go about this. Now I am older and I am still doing the same outdoor activities skiing, backpacking and mountain biking so I am watching van builds and trying to figure out what I want in the end. I can afford to do it right. I look forward to leaving my gear in my vehicle and hitting the road. Now I go mostly midweek to avoid the crowds. I think you did a fantastic job. You have definitely demonstrated that if you have "free" time it can be very valuable in a project like this. Buying a van conversion already done is not inexpensive, plus you usually have to make compromises on your vision of what you want. You saved a lot of money doing it yourself and congratulations on a nice van!

Just seen the tour and cost videos on Luna, amazing job, totally functional and quality job. All the space has used the max and to the benefit of yourself living in the van whilst on the road skiing. The outfit and final product is amazing. Do you have any plans at all of maybe installing a shower at all. work hard play hard, you certainly deserve what you’ve put in, for the mileage, a good price for the van. also, the quality of footage, use of drone and editing in the vlogs you produce is outstanding and your skiing is sick, keep it up dude!

You might be right with $20 an hour, but for someone that knows what they are doing I think they would get this done a lot faster, so it probably wouldn't cost as much. With that said, great job! The van looks great!!
