When I was a kid (don’t report me, that statute of limitations has taken effect!) I used to go out to some offshore tide pools in Kennebunk and fish out lobsters from the boulders during the really low full moon tides. One time I pulled a 2 or so pounder out from a boulder by getting him to clamp a stick. I then grabbed him but he kicked his tail so hard he spun out of my hand and managed to grab my left ring finger. He broke my finger!! Fifty years later it’s still crooked. He got the worst of it though, my granddad boiled him and ate him all up!
