Happy 25th anniversary, digi-fans. Not sure if this 2025 teaser going to be a new anime series, hope so, and definitely connects 02 Epilogue. There are few other speculations such as Adventure 2020's sequel, a new true remake of Adventure OG, or just new gens after 02 Epilogue, etc. Because most likely we have one more Adventure timeline movie in 2027, a final ending perhaps.

Honestly I'd love a faithful reboot of the OG adventure (not like 2020) I think the animation we've gotten more recently, like Tri, is super pretty and it would be fun to see the old anime like that. Also, obviously hoping for some sort of followup to Kizuna and 02:Beginning to bridge the gap and see the digimon return. I cried so hard at the end of Kizuna!

You know, I think it might be neat to see the adventures of the kids of the original adventure cast, it might even be more chill if their parents can act sort of like guides. I know it's incredibly unlikely, but a slice of life/iyashikei style digimon show would be fun and unique.

The original adventure anime can be difficult to recommend to people nowadays, especially if someone doesn't want to read subtitles, people see the dated animation and the heavy censorship and don't give the show a chance, I thought the 2020 show would be a show I could recommend to new fans but it's so different from the original that it just doesn't feel right, if the reanimated scenes are a trailer for a reanimated version of the original Anime then I'd love that, it may not be necessary for us but it could be good for new fans especially if it gets an uncut uncensored English dub

It feels like we've been in a Digimon Drought no new game, no new series, no new movie, so this new reanimated trailer was pretty good.

One thing that digimon hammered home into young me and stuck with me throughout was the bond between the Digimon and their partners. They dont look alike, not the same species, not even from the same world but form these amazing bonds like no other. It reminds me to keep trying to get along and accept new friends from all paths and keep old ones near. In 2024 with everything going on we need to remember to do this more than ever imo. Wield olive branches and love not sticks and hate. Kinda sappy i know but ive gained so much with that mindset. People i dont agree with or understand in a lot of important ways but dont need to in order to cherish them. Its nice. Happy 25th digifam.❤

You're not the only one. I also thought at first I was just watching a recap of Digimon Adventure through stock footage rather than brand new animation. Digimon was just as memorable to me back in the Fox Kids days too. It was an awesome blend of Pokemon's monster fights combined with the epic higher stake storylines of Dragon Ball Z. All three of them were easily the standouts of the late 90s/early 00s anime boom in the U.S.

i think i was the only kid in my school that loved digimon more than pokemon... Now than i am adult because of nostalgia i want to rewatch... Even the music was so good (deutsche ver.)

What about a version of adventure of what happens when a digi-destined passed away, in line with digimon commenting on digital technologies, connected to the latest developments on the topic of inheriting digital content, like stream libraries and so forth.
