How To Write Fanfiction: A Beginners Guide to Writing Great Fanfics!

Like many authors I started off as a fanfiction writer. For me writing Fanfiction was a great experience, but to be honest I almost never started writing fanfiction because I didn't really know where to start. That is why I made this quick video to show new writers how to easily start writing fanfiction.

If you take away anything from this video it should be to get writing. As a young fanfic writer I was always looking up fancy tips and tricks when truthfully the best way to write better fanfiction is practice.

Fanfic writer here 🤚🏾 I've written visual fanfics (here on my YouTube channel) and am now writing on Wattpad. Sure wish I had this when I started 3 1/2 years ago. I would like to add if you haven't already join a community based on the book, movie, etc. It will help when promoting your fanfic.

Fan-Fiction could be consider a story told from voice and translated into text.
I started writing fan-fictions at young age and have no idea they are called as such.
The best way is to focus on the content first and then, our voice/prose will improve. Words are tools to describe what's going on.
Writing is each one craft but plot is the MAJOR essence of fan-fictions.

I have few ideas that I'd love to write fanfic about but I'm literally afraid of messing it up or not finishing, having no motivation or something.I lately found writing really enjoyable for me so I'll do my best to start and finish what i wanted to write. Okay okay I'm getting my notebook back out 😤 I have written quite a few pages but put it away for a while cuz I wasn't so secure in how I'd organize a dialogue heavy chapter. But hearing your tip to take note while rewatching source material on how characters speak actually made me feel confident in jumping back into it.

The main assumption of my fanfic is that I want to present the world of BNHA from the perspective of Poland, create historical events that could have happened before the main plot, and all this from the perspective of a child who, after finishing the 6th grade of primary school, moves with his family to Japan and begins connect his life with characters and events from the main plot
