For those who "thumbs downed" this video or have posted negative criticism... I've been an Elvis fan for 40 of my 43 years on this planet. I too am extremely critical of Tribute Artists. For years I would watch and cringe. Mainly, because for years, there were only cringeworthy imitators. Chris Connor is, hands down, the best Tribute Artist I've ever seen. Do yourself a favor, stop waiting for Elvis to appear. Elvis transcends all other forms of entertainment. No one will ever be that. So watch for and appreciate Tribute Artists who respect the image. Ones who make Elvis' presence look as natural as it was to him. Ones who sing similar to him, not exactly like him. Ones who know how to embody his sound and don't characterize it. When you can watch Chris through that prism... you'll see magic.
