Simple polytunnel irrigation system and great Spring crops.

Here I show a simple polytunnel irrigation system using a tank, some watering cans, a valve and a pipe. I also show various crops such as Lettuce, Beetroot, Runner Beans, Sweetcorn, Tomatoes, Aubergine (Eggplant), Purple Sprouting Broccoli, Kale and others. I speak a bit about the recent weather. How to grow your own food is a great skill to learn and growing your own fruit and vegetables is a brilliant thing to do for health and food production whether at the allotment, backyard or other area. i show Runner beans being grown in a container. Becoming semi self sufficient will take effort. I also show the benefits of a polytunnel or greenhouse such as how to get early crops by creating a microclimate. I talk about no dig beds and show how they have been put to good use in the polytunnel. I hope people find the video useful.

Hi Dan, I have got the same set up in my allotment greenhouse. The IBC tank holds 1000 litres. I have raised mine up to increase pressure and later on I hope to set up a drip system on a timer for when I go on holiday. The crops in there look in marvellous condition. Looks like we may have some decent weather on the horizon. Time for some gardening 😄👍🏻

Hi, Dan. That looks like it works well for you. You crop looks wonderful. The birds gave me a free gooseberry bush behind my mulberry. I think I found it last summer. It was full of berries. Glad to see you are doing well.

gooseberrys layer really well just bury a branch with lots of small branches on it and with in a couple of months will have root on each branchlet can then be cut up and potted up ive given lots of pants away like this and growth that im planning on trimming off gets layered
