I have another take. What if deep down the kid was really suicidal on the inside but wanted to project he was a daredevil on the outside to his peers? If he died he may believe his bravado would save him the stigma of being perceived as weak suicide. But if he lives (and he did) he has a new perspective on life and is a folk hero. Things may have worked out well for him except for the fact the adrenaline and attention eventually wanes and he goes back to dealing with his life again - baggage and all .... until the next death wish stunt.

World record highest cliff jump is 192ft. The Golden Gate Bridge is 250ft high and up. About 1% of people have survived the fall from this bridge.

"It's like getting hit by a truck but it didn't hurt." Lmao

Possibly he was jumping to commit suicide, after surviving the jump he realised his mistake and possibly didn't want any one to know he was suicidal...

Can’t tell if this is a real interview or just a piss take

The way he speaks carries himself and acts on impulse, appears to not be a very intelligent person.

There are millions of people who died after saying "hold my beer - I'm gonna try something." I hope he learns to control his impulses so that he is never one of them.

“Halfway through u start goin waay faster” dudes account is scientifically spot on. Once u pass around the 120ft mark your speed will nearly triple by the time u hit.

Definitely not the crunchiest chip in the bag. In fact, he’s probably a future Darwin Award winner.

OK, this may be a stupid question, but why don’t they just rid of the pedestrian walkway going across the bridge?

he doesn’t even know how lucky he is to be alive. so many don’t make that jump and live...

They need to removed this video because he’s sending the wrong impression, teens may think is ok to jump and they will survive, I didn’t like the fact that the way he’s telling his experience sounds like fun and is not .☹️

SOOO SAD! I am a Practitioner & currently take care of people mechanically ventilated due to spinal cord injuries or traumatic brain injuries just for driving in a shallow lake or a pool, breaking their necks. I even know this kid who was young & riding his bike on a bridge rail road. Train was coming & he had jumped in the river to try & survive. Unfortunately his body was found & it was 70 feet high. I cannot smile or be amazed by such stupidity.

New drinking game: Take a shot every time he says "like". Alcohol poisoning guaranteed.

This guy said he jumped off bridges every day of the summer in Fulsom, CA. So he had reduced fear and probably knew how to position his body when hitting the water. Plus he's a wiry 16 year old..

This gives off some serious “Florida man” vibes
