Показать описание

Pryaniki are Russian Honey spiced cookies that are similar in texture to a honey jumble and are commonly made for festive occasions. These small biscuits are a moorish treat to accompany a warm cup of tea or coffee. Pryaniki go back for centuries in the traditional Russian kitchen. You will find them on the shelves of all Russian stores. The flavor is with coffee, honey and speckled through perfectly with spices – cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg and allspice. This recipe makes around 40-50 cookies!

Mmm, Alla! Little cakes or big cookies, I can't decide which. This may take a lot of thought... I'll take 16 please before I make up my mind! Oh, so delish! While eating them I can practice my new Russian word, pryaniki, pryaniki, pryaniki!

I was watching an episode of Scandal and the woman who played a KGB Assassin, but wanted to retire – said that she had just made some Russian spice cookies. So, I figured I’d find the recipe, they look tasty! 🤤

Privet, Alla. Those cookies look so adorable, almost Thumbelina size. I am amazed at how it turned out. You really inspired me to bake wonderful treats like you. I can't believe the holidays are getting closer within each day. You are truly smart at making anything European. Julia from One Kitchen-A Thousand Ideas has some really AMAZING Danish treats and savory dishes. I can't wait until Christmas in the next few weeks. See ya on Monday. Alla. Spasibo! Dosvidanje! :-)
