He actually has a point everyone! The scent from the skittles do have a huge impact on the “flavor” of the skittles. I have ones right now and I ate some while covering my nose so that I don’t smell them and they taste bland. Don’t get me wrong there is still a light taste but I can’t tell the difference!

When you put any flavour skittles into your mouth it will taste unique, but if you leave it in your mouth and wait for the skittle to change colour then the skittles taste the same .So what's happening is that the skittle just loses its flavour
