In Dreams is my favorite song from the Lord of the Rings trilogy soundtracks by Howard Shore. I remember the first time I heard it, I couldn't understand how this music could be so airy and dreamy and weightless. The lyrics by Fran Walsh are gorgeous. Simple & perfect.

Pippin's Song, composed by Billy Boyd himself, was also a track that you guys have requested several times, and one that gave me goosebumps while watching the film. Especially with the particular scenes cut to the song. The melody is haunting.

It feels nice to sing them both. Start with sadness, end with hope.

The progressive changes in tones that your songs contain really add an emotional side to the song and makes it feel like an experience that the listener is a part of, rather than simply a story they are hearing told.

Lord of the Rings was the first book, first cinematic experience, and first fictional experience I had ever had. My mother loved it, and I grew up after everything was made, but it has a huge place in my heart. Malu did it not only justice, but did amazing. Thank you, Malukah.
