Here is some nice performance data on the 5NL, copied from an information article on the internet so take this for what it’s worth. The F4U-5NL Corsair was a late version of the Vought F4U Corsair, primarily designed for night operations and equipped with de-icing capabilities for cold climates. Here’s a summary of its performance data:

• Engine: Pratt & Whitney R-2800-32W Double Wasp, 18-cylinder radial engine, producing 2, 450 hp.
• Top Speed: Around 460 mph (740 km/h) at 20, 000 feet (6, 100 m).

Rudder deflection ++++ to overcome the powerful slipstream hitting the vertical stabiliser. Engine air intakes at 4 and 8 O’ Clock on the cowling for a new engine.
