WRC's first event Monte Carlo is coming soon. So I drove the SLRE's Monte Carlo. The game has good graphics, colors and tarmac physics, so it's still fun to play.

But holy crap pacenotes and engine sounds are... sad 😂
Milestone was made a very nice engine sound on their WRC 4 game, so I can't understand why they are made a weird engine sound on SLRE, their next rally game.

(As a side note, WRC4 is one of my favorite rally games. I've been playing WRC4 especially on PSVITA for over 6 years. 😁)

Unfortunately, the wheels other than the ones I listed never work because there is no wheel preset on the game data. As always other games of Milestone, controller support is very primitive and have a screw loose.

**In my case this plugin didn't work properly. When I select Wheel, the keys set in the plug-in do not work, and when I select Joypad or Keyboard, there is no force feedback.
(It seems problem of Korean Windows system.. but I'm not sure.)
So I'm playing with only one wheel controller connected to my PC. (I recommended to disconnect all controllers except the racing wheel) Importantly, you have to select the wheel from the options EVERYTIME you turn on the game. And I recommended to rebind all the key settings related to the axis (steering, gas, brake, clutch) once again. In my case, if I don't rebind it, I'm experiencing the physics to become a complete weird due to the collision of the axis.

Just bought this game for 3€ full DLC and on a G920 it's amazing. It feels great with just minor adjustments to the wheel. The graphics are also very beautiful and without over the top filters or effects, so it runs great. The only major letdown are the car sounds, they are really week. But since the game is very immersive you will soon forget that. The car and track roster are also amazing. It's really a beautiful diamond in the rough.

it almost looks like there’s no hands and wheel in-game. you got that lined up perfectly. i started with slre and miss the stages and car selection.

I know all of this game's short comings, especially PC, but oh my god how realistic it looks on tarmac. Dare I say visuals hold up not that bad either. I gotta go get it for xbox now.

Excelente!! Ese tramo es especialmente complicado, muy técnico y lo has pasado como si nada... Cómo se ve el Loeb rally en tu vídeo! Espectacular. La imagen del coche está perfectamente implementada en la vista de la carretera, la ambientación es impresionante, parece real. Dices que utilizas el mod RFPE para que te funcione bien con fanatec? Un amigo no consiguió que le funcionará con el fanatec Direct Drive. Un saludo!

@Leza are you using any mods for SLRE? When I played it for the first time back when it was released I was amazed by the Tarmac physics especially Monte Carlo. I think it has the best tarmac physics ever in a rally game. Too bad it was abandoned. I was wondering if you are using any mods to run it. Game was never this fluid before. It used to run at either 30 fps with V-Sync or 60 fps without V-Sync and a lot of screen tearing. Regardless it was laggy and fps was very inconsistent. How did you make it run so smoothly?

Yeah wirh my fanatec csw v2.5 and loadcell moded g29 pedal, i can use them in slre with no problem. Now i ordered simagic alpha mini, when it arrives, i try with that combo too, share the result somehow on your video

Where would you place SLRE in terms of physics realism if to compare it with Dirt Rally and WRC ? I've heard that SLRE is a spiritual successor to Richard Burns Rally from one hand, from another I've heard it being bashed for being too arcade-alike. It is quite unknown game compared to Dirt and WRC, so it is not easy to find some truly good comparsion :/ Also, I think you could create a video with top (3, 5 or more) most realistic rally games (in terms of how realistically they give out physics and driving). Just an idea for a content :) Subscribed btw!
