I agree with you on the promoter, I've had mine on for over two year, countless car washings, and still going strong 💪.

I just did my louvers today, drying right now. But I used the 3M Plastic and emblem adhesion 😝 along with velcro tape.. hope it'll stay on for dear life

I agree I used the same product on the rear window, problem is the tape stuck to window great but the louver flew off anyway. The metal mount separated from the tape. So next time I will apply promoter to metal mounts to

Do you recommend adding promoter onto both sides of the tape?

I bought the E&G Classics and have had no issues with mine. Came with everything...lost of wipes and promoter and lots of thin strip of foam to strategically place around the back to prevent rattles and was curved to prevent stress . 6 years so far.

I couldnt find those adhesive promoters anywhere without having to order online and wait…. So… I went to autozone and bought one of those little mirror mounting kits because it came with a little cloth adhesive promoter with it…. Used that, and so far its worked. 👍

I drove behind another Challenger with louvers on the freeway last week and I was crushing hard 😂 definitely going to look into getting the MP Concept louver you have (I actually checked them out on the website first before seeing this video so I’m taking it as a sign).

One question - can you elaborate on the soap you used to clean?? Which soap exactly?

And I’m debating whether I’ll need a rear spoiler too to complete the look...

hey great video, just installed louvers on my my 10th gen civic using this promoter and it worked very well. i had a not so good experience using this promoter installing the rain guards though. i got the promotor on my finger and when i installed the rain guard it left my finger print on the guard and i cant get it off. i tried alcohol and acetone but it didnt help. any suggestions? thinking of using tint wrap on the outside of the guard because that will cover my mistake. any help would be appreciated

Thanks for the video, I had the adhesion promoter in the bag but no mention of how and where to use/apply it in the instructions.

I have those, the mounting hardware sucks .I take mine off in the winter and bolts get messed up because they are plastic, never mind if you want to clean the glass, I use those 3m easy pass type stick it's, so I can take them off when I want to without having to buy another hardware kit that sucks. Been thru carwash lots and been fine

Great video! My louver let go i just ordered 30lb gorilla tape . Should i order this stuff as well???
