But there is no need to delete TV stand into edit family. Just untick the stand option in properties browser.

what version of Revit you are working with. because I cannot snap my dimensions lines to the inner walls like you are doing in min 17:45 my lines are not snapping to either inner or outter wall only the middle.. am new at revit sorry.. am learning with your videos. a lot... haahah cheers!!


nevermind. am using an older version its not leting me click the circle and drag to snap. but if i double click it. it will snap jump and snap to the middle inner and outter wall... I guess I need to upgrade.... thank you!!

In the preview image - how did you get the cut away image to change height? the section box appears to cut down at 45d and change height...
