Russia, don't be offended. These are not sanctions but Special Financial Operations to help your economy.

Can't we take Russia's frozen assets and use them to offset the cost of humanitarian aid for refugees.

Who the F would want to do business with Putin or even China at this point?

The UN should step up by removing Putin from securiy council, and more.
Or just expel him from the UN completely.

Yes, boot Russia out of 'most favored nation' trade status. Interlocking relationships of world trade has great benefit for world peace and stability so violating norms by declaring war on a neighboring country needs the harshest response from the world community.

*Russia requires stiffer SANCTIONS.* _Russia's main imports are: machinery, equipment and transport (45 percent of total imports), chemical products (19 percent) and foodstuffs and agricultural products (14.5 percent)._

It’s crazy that Russia still had this status with his actions in the past. We can easily do business with other countries

While I hope and pray every day that peace comes to Ukraine and Putin ceases his invasion into it, he seems ruthless and relentless in wanting to grab it illegally. Hopefully, I'm wrong and President Zelensky and his staunch citizens will eventually wear Putin out.

Further economic sanctions should be applied for every escalation they undertake. And most importantly they must last a long time. If we just lift them off after a couple of years all Russia will take from that is it can take more territory if it is prepared to suffer a few years hardship.

Now, the whole nation of Russia will go through these many economy crippling sections over one man's craziness, and the rest of Russian citizens will just sit back and endure all of these?

I am actually a little bit amazed about the Russia US free trade agreement with favoured country built in. Australia has a free trade agreement with the US covering basically everything, about 1% of goods it doesn't cover. So Russian exports have less tariffs than Mexico or Canada or at least did. Removing that free trade agreement which I think nobody really realized existed or at least that provision is an extremely big deal. Normally countries have to fight for 10 or 20 years to get that, Canada and Mexico still haven't got there and Russia was just given it. Seems like only Australia and Singapore have that priviledge now and by default of favoured nation Russia used to have the same deal regardless what the original agreement said
