What happened to the doctored up fatal auction Acura RDX

I had a lot of comments and emails asking what happened to the Acura RDX Aspec that was doctored up. I compiled a video of its journey through the auction so here it is. I also found a Lamborghini in my price range.

I have always felt rebuilders were a good option for someone that buys a vehicle and essentially keeps it until its at the end of its life. Now that I've found a person that would do the job right. Hey Scott, just a thought on the bidding process at Copart. I know a little about it, bought a few cars. In a traditional auction, if you bid on it yourself, trying to run up the price, and get stuck with the high bid, you are out all the fees both seller and buyer. That is the risk.

But at copart you can sell "on approval" So if you win the bid yourself, say through a shill bidder, you can just not approve it and try again the next week. I wonder what that costs the seller. They for sure save on the buyer fees, and maybe even get a set number of refusals for cheap. That makes it even easier for these guys to run up the price and not get burned winning their own lot.

Nice Linde H60/H70/H80. I work on these for a day job in the UK. 2015, Deutz 4.0 litre turbo diesel or 3.2 VR6 VW if its a gas powered one. Decent looking fork positioner attachment and not too high hours reading (Not Miles). Love your channel as I worked in the car business for 25 years before a change of career in 2005.

One of things Copart gets wrong is it manual or automatic, 2 times they said a car was automatic clearly from the pictures they were manual which I prefer and during the auction that information is removed. Thanks John from Arizona

I’m so glad someone is putting these people that are screwing hard working people on blast!!! We need several people on YouTube to do this!! It’s a huge problem in the car auction world and only getting worse. These people need to be unearthed for the crooks they are !

Interesting update, thanks Scott. These shysters need to catch a cold now and then. Surprised copart don't take more interest in what they're selling, it doesn't put them in a good light.
