A South Florida pool maintenance worker is recovering from a pellet gun wound after he was accidentally shot by a hired iguana hunter who missed his target. WPTV's Tania Rogers reports.

Well hitting someone shows lack of gun safety. I have no problem with people hunting invasive iguanas but remember the basic gun safety rules, such as “know your target and what’s beyond it”

Don’t shoot at anything I without a safe backdrop. If an iguana is on a branch and you don’t account for a miss and hit someone, you shouldn’t be taking the shot.

Just make sure to shoot safely. If someone hurts somebody, there are legal penalties. Just do it on an individual basis.
