Some people don't understand how someone can fall in love with a voice. He is one of the people in music whose voice I fell in love with.

This song is flawless.
Orchestra, oboe, lead, backup singers, tempo, lyrics.
One of my favorite bands for close to 60 years.

Written by the great JERRY FULLER, still alive at 85! He also wrote Travelin' Man for Sam Cooke, but Rick Nelson recorded it instead, as well as Fuller's It's Up To You & Young World. After release from Army in 1965, he produced LIES for the Knickerbockers & in 1967, began producing Gary Puckett & wrote this song, Young Girl, & Lady Willpower. In 1969, he produced Happy Heart for Andy WIlliams & Arizona for Mark Lindsay, a song I particularly LOVE. In 1971, he wrote Show & Tell for Al Wilson. Fuller got it goin' on.

Beautiful song - Gary had such a pitch perfect voice. One of the best male singers of all time. Listening in June, 2019

Gary Puckett probably had the best voice of any pop singer in his era...This was one of the bands that defined 1967 through 1969 to me...there's just something about listening to this music that transports me back to growing up in the 60's...

I miss these times so so much. I’m 65 years old now and I feel so old and I miss this type of music because the crap they have these days are disgusting and so sad. I miss these days off and I miss my friends from back then also.

Don't get me wrong I like a lot of music during different decades but they just don't make music like this anymore
