A gameplay animations side by side comparison between Electro characters Calcharo versus the upcoming new electro character Xiangli Yao from Wuthering Waves version 1.2!!! Who do you think has the best gameplay animations???

Animation creep is always the biggest worry in kuro games lol. Pgr went nuts in 2nd gen.

Gameplay wise, Yao might feel comfortable. But aesthetics, animations and the sheer presence will always go to Calorie.

Calcharo's has some of the coolest looking animations from 1.0, but Xiangli Yao looks like he would feel much smoother to actually play. Here is hoping the leaks about him being free are acurate. (And hope an Yinlin rerun is not too far off in the future.)

Xiangli Yao reminds me of Genos from One punch Man. That android side of him and the attacks he performs mixed with those sound effects really give that feeling

I still prefer Calcharo. His attacks have a unqiue rawness and brutality to them. He simply has more presence.

Calcharo is more badass and I’m here for it. But I’m glad we are getting Yao as free character!

Though I’ll be replacing my Calcharo with Yao, once we get a character capable of great and easy shields, I’ll definitely go back to him. His design is too good to be wasted IMO.

Calc have better drip but he is painful to play, I think XY will be more fun
