I remember reading about Rat Skates stepping back and thinking WTF. He was making his mark as a great thrash drummer then pulled away. This footage is brilliant, really takes me back to watching those copy of a copy of a copy VHS tapes back in the 80s. Just to get a glimpse of bands I thought I might never get to see and the excitement of it all being brand new at the time. That was something else

Savage grace played here Chris Logue the guitar player, said in a 2010 interview that he had a good tape of them in bochem gig of them in 86 but he lost the tape he said I'm sure someone has it out there and metal hammer 85 was taped and a few from 83 and 84

This sound is greatly missed from today's iteration of overkill. Rat Skates and Bobby Gustafson gave overkill their signature thrash sound. Bobby and D.D, y'all ever see this, REUNION IS LONG OVER DUE!!!!
