Right on!! I have not seen anyone run a Crower mechanical injection system on the street or anything for that matter in a very long time. My father ran Crower injection on a big block Chevrolet engine running methanol. Injected engines have a sound like no other very distinct and powerful. Throttle response is the best no carb can get close it is impossible. Great job, and thank you for sharing this on here.

Last time I saw one on the street, it was in a 67 camaro back in 1978.

Looks to be bolted straight to the frame. Didn't see that engine move at all. Awesome work thou. I hope whom ever owns it... Enjoys it.

Nothing like the trumpets and a healthy big block

Doug, thanks for posting this. I recently put the big block version of this Crower unit in my 73 Corvette. I've always understood these to be virtually "unstreetable." Yours seems to be pretty manageable. I just got it running with a lot of help from a local racing shop, but due to an early winter here in the Black Hills I have not been able to drive it yet. Did you do anything special to make it more streetable? Yours looks and sounds fantastic, by the way! Thanks, Rich

While the look is the ultimate in car cool, those set-ups are notoriously difficult to tune. What type of tuning issues did you encounter? I'd love to put a set-up like that in a mid-engined Corvair I'm planning, for all to see through the side windows and rear glass. Those velocity stacks just have that muscle car vibe I recall from the late 50s/early 60s that I grew up in. Sweet ride!

Nice!
What kind of horsepower with this setup?

Stacks look cool but engine will be sucking in crap if running on street without adequate air filters.

Form can’t trump function. This car is no longer a car. It doesn’t transport. Makes a lot of noise and sparkles. Should be cruising American roadways not being obnoxiously loud three times a year it’s fired up.
