Joseph, thank you for these videos. I’ve been sailing hobies for 25 years but I still learn something from every video that progresses my skills. Thank you!

Hi Joe, I am a novice mono dinghy sailer from Australia and I have found your instructional videos on trapezing excellent. I really like your no nonsense manner as well! Thank you very much for going to so much trouble.

I bought a hobie 16 et I watched your video probably about 20 times and now with your explanations and demonstration I can go to the trapeze all alone on my hobie and the first time I scream thank you Jo

This is great1 Why didn't anyone make this before? For us long time untrained sailors there are plenty of things we still do wrong, and trapezing is a big one!

If your still looking for ideas for videos a good one would be starts for racing on a hobie 16 or how to do a w2 course closed start race with starting that and about how to tell your sail trim

Another great video. I think what has surprised me the most as I've just started Hobie sailing after a LONG time off is how much attention has to go into managing all the lines so that they don't become a tangled mess, are easy to reach, etc. Hoping to get some trapeze harnesses soon and try getting out over the water. :) Although, as I'm getting comfortable I'm only taking the 14 out and we seem to have misplaced the trap wires.
Might have to take a 16 if we can't find the wires for the 14. Not sure I'm ready for that jump just yet.

Thanks Joe! Another helpful video. How do you push the boat to the limit and NOT capsize? Is there a secret to this?

Joseph do you have any videos on trapeze harness reviews? What should we look for in a harness? Also how do you wear the harness with the pdf ( personal flotation devise). What goes over what? Thanks for the vid.

Epic - Thank you so much. How do not pull the boat over when you practice trapezing in land - Every time I do it, it fells like I am about to pull the boat over. I am 120kg 🙂

I find it a challenge on my 16 when the water isnt as flat as in your video. You get a lot of pitching and it’s hard to balance as you move out. Better to go out just after the tack when the boat is going slower?
