That word is "Nazi." Nobody cares about their motives anymore.

They joined what they joined. They lent their support and their moral approval. And, in so doing, they bound themselves to everything that came after. Who cares any more what particular knot they used in the binding?

My mother is 92....we talk all the time....she said not too long ago...people don't realize they have a RESPONSIBILITY, as a member of this nation to participate in what happens in our nation...when people stop voting for " us"... and vote only for the selfish " me"... society, as a whole will suffer. I live in deep MAGA country. Just yesterday over 30 people at the agency that I work at came in, could not access their email and that is how they found out they were currently fired by DOGE. These were huge MAGAs but they were civil servants that had worked for the agency for over 20 years, BUT they were recently promoted for being amazing. Now these moms & dads are unemployed.

Poor conservatives refused to read, hear facts, learn from others, look at their own history...so they must feel the COLD HARD SLAP of reality. And honestly I love that for her. This is her chance to live her life as a more conscious, kinder, more empathetic person. We don't tend to leave this world wishing we were meaner, we wish we had been nicer.

I heard a coworker today (who just had her first child) talking about out how there should be more help and accommodations for new mothers, like paid maternity leave. Yet she voted Republican. Girl, those are democratic policies and you voted against it! How do we get this through people’s heads. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Problem here is we already went through this for 4 yrs in 2016 and she (& the rest of MAGA) didn't learn a damned thing. She isn't going to learn it this time, either.

As a disabled black woman who now can't buy a house because I'm afraid I could be fired any day as a DEI hire, I have no sympathy and I hope her and everyone like her FAFOs. I've been at my job for half a decade and have consistently been a rockstar, but that doesn't even matter in this administration. Eggs are NOT lower. High prices are steadily rising and they're messing with the FDA and everything else so the quality is steadily tanking too.

ETA: I've watched this channel a few times, but never commented, I'm overwhelmed by how nice and supportive most of these replies are.🥺🥰🥰🥰💕💕💕 There always has to be someone with no hometraining. To clarify I meant that this administration sees anyone who is POC or disabled as a DEI hire, regardless of tenure or skill.

Reminiscent of a woman in my pandemic loss group. Lost three family members to the virus (Lost her husband, father and father-in-law). Rabidly anti-vax, anti-mask. All were Trump supporters. Still remains a 47 supporter. You can’t convince some people.

Also, caring when a policy hurts you isn’t actually caring.
