This song makes me think of my brother's suicide and the survivors guilt I have, as well as my other siblings. "All the angels say, you are all to blame, 'cause all the angels say, you are all the same." We didn't do enough to stop him. Maybe if we called more, maybe if we lived closer, maybe if we said I love you one more time, he'd still be here with us.

although it wasnt much, im so glad i go to witness mcrx happening and being released. i became a fan of mcr after they broke up and i thought id never be able to see the band active at all. it means a lot to me that i go to, even though it wasnt dramatic. thank you guys, so much.

Something really interesting about the "ooh ooh ooh ooh": that 4-note melody is from an old Latin chant called the Dies Irae. The original text was about the biblical day of judgement and was usually sung at funerals. Today, the melody is used in a lot of classical and film music as a signal for impending danger or death, like in the intro of The Shining or the siren song in Into the Unknown. Within the album concept, it's kind of like the angels are singing and welcoming him to death.
