The manufacturing process of GELSYN-3 begins in the dispensing department with the recording of the individual weighing of raw materials. The sodium hyaluronate used for GELSYN-3 is produced by fermentation of the cell strain Streptococcus Equi. The hyaluronic acid is highly purified by removing proteins and cellular debris. It is also certified as GMO-free during this process. The high molecular weight that characterizes GELSYN-3 hyaluronic acid is between 1400 and 2100 kiloDalton. The preparation tank is filled with highly purified water. The high quality of raw material is assured by a meticulous sampling scheme to analyze their physical, chemical and microbiological characteristics.
