Parallel Wireless leads in Open RAN solutions

Parallel Wireless has been very active lately, working on projects in Africa with MTN and in the UK for the 5G Rural testbed. It has also just been selected by Vodafone and Telefónica as a lead vendor for their Open RAN RFIs, which feed into the work being undertaken by the Telecom Infra Project. It embraces an end-to-end philosophy with mobile technology that spans all the cellular generations up to 5G, using general purpose processing from RAN to core to deliver the lowest possible OPEX with low power consumption and automation.
