The 'Leaders Summit on Climate' starts Thursday evening, Korea time, and President Moon will be giving a speech in the first session.
In this session, a total of 27 countries will take part, including China, and it will be President Moon's first time to speak with Biden and Chinese leader Xi Jinping at the same time.
The summit aims to solidify the international community's commitment to reaching the climate goals set by the Paris Agreement... and to achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
President Moon is expected to announce its upgraded climate-related targets known as the Nationally Determined Contribution.
Ahead of the summit, South Korea has reaffirmed its strong commitment to global carbon neutrality.
The Blue House deputy spokesperson said that strengthening South Korea-U.S cooperation in the fight against climate change could help broaden the bilateral alliance at various levels.
At the Blue House compound, President Moon will connect live from a traditional Korean house called Sangchunjae.
The other leaders will get to see electric vehicle battery packs made by LG and SK and a car batter model made by Samsung, which will be on display inside the house.
"This summit will be followed by the P4G summit in Seoul this May, where South Korea will look to help strengthen international solidarity in responding to climate change.
