My favorite day of the year growing up. Paul Rever would ride by the park in East Somerville the day before and hand out Hood Ice Cream. If we were going to the battle we had baked potatos in our pockets to keep us warm. And then dash back for a game at Fenway.

I was there for the event. I will be attending the 250th anniversary of the reenactment as well. Really looking forward to it.

Grew up in this area. Patriots day weekend is always fun (no school!)! It's a state holiday in Mass and Maine, (Maine was part of Mass until 1820). A neighbor was a Redcoat reenact-or, the 7th Regiment of foot.

Being a Concord native, and someone who served in Afghanistan, I can only imagine what these guys went through. Can't wait to see it!

Thank you very much for the Revolutionary War content. The big 250 from 2025 through 2033 should be fertile subject matter! Please don’t forget War of 1812 210.

Wish it were much longer. Looking forward to the 360 when it comes out which I hope is as long or longer than the Civil War 360 and don't forget women non-combatants as they were there along with children, one of the sad things about this battle is that it took place in a populated area though thankfully there were no civilian casualties as far as women and children are concerned.
